Ian Mallery joined Arcadian in February 2022, bringing over 45 years of extensive insurance experience. Formerly Head of Claims at The Channel Syndicate 2015, Ian successfully established and led a multi-class claims team, setting a benchmark for operational efficiency.

Prior to this, Ian served as Claims Manager at Marlborough Underwriting from 1997 to 2014, having held senior roles at Aon, JH Minets, and Bell Nicholson Henderson. His deep-rooted knowledge of complex claims, Lloyd's Minimum Standards, and claims operations has made him a key figure in the London Market.

Ian played a pivotal role in developing and implementing Channel's Claims Management System. As Chair of the LMA Electronic Claims Practitioner Committee from 2003 to 2006, he oversaw the design and introduction of the Electronic Claims File (ECF) system, which transformed claims processing in the London Market.

At Arcadian, Ian collaborates closely with Ian Simes, contributing his expertise to enhance team training and knowledge-sharing, ensuring continuous development in complex claims handling.
